Start the new year off with expectations of healing.

After the holidays, we tend to start the new year off with plans that get off on a running start, but somehow get lost in the everyday routine that we are so accustomed to. If we want to see great things in the upcoming new year, we must put on an attitude of expectation. Many need healing and only God can bring healing to our hearts. Where is our healing going to begin?  Sharing a message of hope is a way to bring healing both to those we speak to and to our own hearts. God provides a prescription plan for each one of us. We must get those prescriptions filled in order to receive healing. I want to encourage all to expect God to move in our lives in 2013.

Expecting God to move in our lives is the starting point.

What steps are we taking to put ourselves in that place of expectation?

Are we willing to take steps out of our comfort zone?

Are we willing to spend time in the word and seek God’s will no matter where He leads us?

These are questions that will change our hearts as we make changes and think about what the new year will bring.

As a wife, mother, grandmother, I am praying for God to guide my paths as the new year brings change my way. I encourage everyone to seek wisdom and allow God to guide your steps. Look for the open doors and pray before you walk through. Seek godly counsel, for only those who love God can instruct you in His ways. And most of all let your light shine for the world to see. There has been much heartache this past month. We need God’s peace, healing and transformation.

“I guide you in the way of wisdom
And lead you along straight paths.
When you walk, your steps will not be hampered;
When you run, you will not stumble.
Hold on to instruction, do not let it go;
Guard it well, for it is your life.
The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn,
Shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”

      Proverbs 4:11-13;18

    Lets seek to sparkle for Jesus by sharing His Truth and so shinning bright in the darkness around us, God bless you my dear Sister in The Lord, you already do.
